On this page you’ll find the mail settings for iPhone and iPad as well as an overview with the imap server mail settings for DLC mail
The exact steps may vary by model, but all the settings can to be found here.
Mail settings for DLC email:
Where you have a choice, select IMAP (do not use POP3 – ask me why if you really want to know)
Incoming server imap.1and1.co.uk
Incoming port 143
SSl (security) incoming none
Outgoing server auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk
Outgoing port 587
SSL (security) outgoing none
Requires sign-in yes
Choose settings
Scroll down and choose Mail, Contacts and Calendars
Tap Add account and select Other
Tap Add Mail Account and enter the following information:
Name: Your Name
Email: your DLC email-address
Password: your email-password chosen by you
Description: enter “DLC“
Choose imap under incoming mail server and enter the following information:
Hostname: imap.1and1.co.uk
Username: email address
Password: your email-password chosen by you
Scroll down and under outgoing mail server, enter the following information:
Hostname: auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk
Username: email address
Password: your email-password chosen by you
Tap save and in select your emailadress in the next screen.
Scroll down and under outgoing mail server choose SMTP
Under Main server select auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk and make sure the following information is displayed:
SSL: none
Serverport: 587
Tap done and go to the previous screen. Choose Advanced and make sure the following information is correct:
SSL: none
Serverport: imap.1and1.co.uk
Again, go back to the previous screen. Restart your iPhone or iPad to finish the setup!
