Bridget Jones’s Baby (2016, Irl/UK/Fr/USA) cert. 15 – Babes in Arms screening
11.00am Babes in Arms screening
Bringing a baby is not compulsory but we cannot guarantee a quiet auditorium during this screening!
Director: Sharon Maguire
Stars: Renée Zellweger, Patrick Dempsey, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson
The third film in the Bridget Jones franchise, Bridget Jones’s Baby, finds Bridget (Zellweger) the ‘wrong side’ of 40 – and single again following her break-up with Mark Darcy (Firth). Never mind. Feeling that she has everything under control, she decides to focus on her career as a top news producer.
Suddenly, her love life comes back from the dead when she (literally) bumps into Jack (Dempsey), a dashing American.
Things couldn’t be better….
Until Bridget discovers that she is pregnant.
Now, the befuddled mum-to-be must figure out who’s the father.
“Witty, playful… a bundle of joy” (Radio Times).
