If you loved Gladiator, you will also love this more powerful, bloody sequel. Although it is hard to compete with Russell Crowe’s original iconic performance, film critics have called Gladiator II the ‘best movie of the year’ and a ‘true epic’, praising Paul Mescal’s and Denzel Washington’s scene-stealing. This is another epic from Ridley Scott that may be in the running for a few Oscars at the next Academy Awards.
The afternoon screening is subtitled for those with a hearing loss.

The 2.30pm screening will be followed by an informal discussion with the Croydon u3a Film Group. All are welcome to attend.
