Gender non-conforming Jackie is an 80+ drag queen with an acerbic nightclub comedy act. Jackie has been diagnosed with cancer, and outside performing leads a lonely, booze-fuelled existence. Then young, non-binary performer Faith appears in the dressing room, and despite demographic differences, they realise how much they have in common and become each other’s support network in this feel-good, Brighton-based comedy.

“a fabulous tale of love, death and sequins” – Wendy Ide, The Observer
In association with Croydon Pride and The Batty Mama.

Preceded by a spoken word performance by Tanaka, also known as T.Ffuego. Tanaka is a slam winning, multi published, international spoken word performer. He is a black, queer artist whose poems cross leaps and bounds throughout his intersectionality – from speaking on his conflict and resolution with masculinity, being a young black man who has lived both in America and London, to how being queer and African tends to make you a walking coffin to your culture.
