One to One: John and Yoko offers an intimate look at John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s early days in New York City. Academy award winning documentary maker Kevin Macdonald and Sam Rice-Edwards co-direct this compelling film blending footage from a 1972 benefit concert with rare archival material and previously unheard phone conversations. The film takes us back to Nixon’s American of the early 70’s and explores Lennon and Ono’s activism, showing their clashes with authorities, and efforts to use music for change.
The afternoon screening will be subtitled for thouse with hearing loss.
