Reel Talk returns with Steven Soderbergh’s darkly funny art-world drama The Christophers, starring Ian McKellen, Michaela Coel, James Corden and Jessica Gunning.
Join hosts Pilar Nalwimba and Louis Holder for a pre- and post-screening conversation about the film – with BAFTA-winning actor Joanna Scanlan once again joining them on stage to share her thoughts.
Set in London’s art world, The Christophers follows a young art restorer who is hired to complete a series of unfinished paintings by a once-famous artist, with rather more at stake than meets the eye. Expect plenty to talk about – from art and legacy to ageing, ambition and who gets to decide what makes something valuable.
And, as always, there’ll be drinks, creative activities and plenty of opportunity to share your own thoughts after the screening.
Tickets include a free drink on arrival. GET YOURS HERE!
