YOUR VISIT

A WARM WELCOME

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or you’re a familiar face, we’re delighted you’ve chosen to visit the David Lean Cinema. As a volunteer-led, independent cinema, we’re proud to bring people together through exceptional films, creating a welcoming, respectful space where everyone can enjoy the magic of the big screen.

Our bar opens 45 minutes before every screening, giving you time to relax with a drink, meet friends or simply soak up the atmosphere before the film begins. Around 10 minutes before the screening, we’ll welcome you into the cinema and show you to your seat, leaving plenty of time to get comfortable and enjoy the shared experience of discovering a great film together.
