Forget Tom Cruise as Hollywood heart-throb and action hero – here he’s the balding and paunchy eccentric billionaire: Digger! ‘Digger’ Rockwell is the most powerful man in the world, and his massive drilling operations have triggered a catastrophic apocalyptic melt down.Is this the end of the world or has Digger got what it takes to save the planet? Iñárritu directs a brilliant cast, in this comedic satire on greed and corporate irresponsibility that many are comparing to the Kubrick classic – Dr. Strangelove.
Our 7:30pm screening includes captioned subtitles for those with hearing loss.
