Aaron Sorkin was the writer responsible for 2010’s The Social Network, which described the rise of Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook. He is now back, writing and directing this exposé for Zuckerberg’s Meta’s questionable business methods, which were leaked by staffer Frances Haugen (Madison), with help of Wall Street Journalist Jeff Horwitz (White). Both Haugen and Zuckerberg faced a US Congressional Committee hearing in 2021. Sorkin as ever revels in the back and forth of legal arguments, and Strong is chillingly convincing as Meta’s CEO.
