Juror #2 is a tense legal thriller with an all-star cast, including award-winners J.K. Simmons and Kiefer Sutherland. It’s also the 40th film directed by Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood. After being called to serve on the jury at a murder trial, journalist Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) unexpectedly finds himself embroiled in a politically-charged case. Then, as the trial goes on, Kemp begins to realise the stakes may be even higher for himself than he realised… If the rumours of his retirement are true, it seems like Clint is going out in style.

As reported around this world, Sully’s “Miracle on the Hudson” saved the lives of 155 passengers.  However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public for his feat of skill, an investigation was unfolding that threatened to destroy his reputation and career.

A thrilling and suspenseful portrait of allegedly real events (see the divergent takes of the reviewers linked below), with a wonderfully understated performance by Hanks in the title role.

A selection of Reviews and commentaries from: The TelegraphThe Independent; and The Guardian, the latter questioning whether, in a ‘fact-based’ drama, the script introduces elements that do not seem to have happened.  Appropriate in our post-truth world?
