Written and directed by British-Iraqi drag artist Amrou Al-Khadhi, this is a sweet and positive queer drama comedy, which captures the conflicts of traditional religious traditions, queer culture and the impacts of queer and drag relationships. All relationships can be complicated but none more so than this one between a gay drag artist from a strict Muslim family and a closeted gay uptight marketing executive. A beautifully shot and instinctively tender look at a strong community, with great performances from all the cast members.
