Director: George More O’Ferrall
Stars: Jack Hawkins, Michael Denison, John Gregson
The Kenley Revival Project presents the first British post-war film to deal with the Battle of Britain. John Gregson plays a young pilot joining a new squadron, whose unconventional behaviour continues to annoy his superiors. One of the top ten films of 1952, this film was commended for the accuracy of its portrayal of RAF tactics. A number of functioning Hawker Hurricane aircraft were used in the aerial scenes and some location shooting took place at Kenley aerodrome. The title refers to the radio code for radar contact at 15,000 feet.
