Halloween horror show
Produced by Sam Raimi (creator of the Evil Dead series), Crawl delivers exactly what it promises: an entertaining break from the mundane, with “a reptilian bite in its nods to the tradition of underwater monster flicks” (Roger Ebert). College swimmer Haley (Kaya Scodelario) attempts to find her father in the midst of an intense hurricane, but encounters another problem: large (and hungry) alligators.

The programme will also include a BRIT School production THE MAN AND THE HARE (12A, 14 mins), co-directed by Simisolaoluwa Akande and Zoe Mendleson. This unsettling Year 13 film was shot on location in Shropshire by a relatively large crew of students. We thank editor Henry Fox for preparing a ‘final cut’ that will be screened for the first time on this occasion.
