Best friends and roommates Dreux (Keke Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA) are trying to get through life one day at a time. Dreux has an important job interview coming up, when they realise Alyssa’s boyfriend stole their rent money and they cannot pay the landlord. In a madcap race against the clock, Alyssa and Dreux seek out ways to raise money quickly to avoid eviction, and for Dreux to make it in time to nail the interview. The day doesn’t go easy with each attempt to raise the funds thwarted! Light-hearted and funny, think The Hangover, but for 2025!
