We’re looking for a new Volunteer Box Office Manager as the present holder is retiring in September. The Box Office Manager is a key role in our organisation, making sure that information on screenings is available for those wishing to buy tickets. It also involves monitoring sales and publishing details of forthcoming films. He/she works with other members of the Committee so that as far as possible the supply of seats keeps pace with demand. The position covers a range of tasks and could be divided and shared between two people. You will need good IT skills and experience in editing material for on-line consumption although specific training will be given. You must be able to respond quickly and meet tight deadlines.
